<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial Narrow","sans-serif"">The CALS Alumni Council and Career & Academic Services are excited to invite you to attend the first annual CALS Welcome Celebration on Friday, August 23, 2013 beginning at Noon (immediately
following the UA Clicks Meeting), on the lawn of the Arizona State Museum.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial Narrow","sans-serif""><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial Narrow","sans-serif"">The purpose of this event is to welcome freshman and transfer students to CALS and to engage them as alumni from their “first day” on campus! We encourage all of you to attend and interact
with your new students. Dean Burgess, Dr. Winzerling and the President of the CALS Alumni Council will officially welcome the students, and members of the Alumni Council will also be in attendance to mingle and visit with them.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial Narrow","sans-serif""><o:p> </o:p></span></p>
<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial Narrow","sans-serif"">A DJ has been hired to get the celebration started, Dr. John Marchello will provide lunch from the CALS Food Product and Safety Lab, tailgate games will be set up, a photo booth will
be there to commemorate each student’s first day on campus, and CALS club representatives will be there to encourage membership.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

<p class="MsoNormal"><span style="font-family:"Arial Narrow","sans-serif"">Please make every effort to attend. The success of a first-time event such as this not only depends on the students, but your participation as well. If you are unable to attend, please
