The information that students will see will also be available for advisors to view. Refer to one of your students to view what comes up for your major/minor. It will be visible in UAccess Student Services Center (see display below). <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>On the right-hand column, there will be a section for "Advisor(s)". After clicking the "details" link you will be able to review the information. The information advisors see on these pages will be the same information students see on their end. If you would like your information (aside from phone number) to be modified, including the brief welcome message, please let Kristen Geary or I know. Remember that the welcome message is limited to 200 characters. If you would like to update the phone number being displayed, you can do so by logging into your UAccess Employee account and updating it there. <o:p></o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText><o:p> </o:p></p><p class=MsoPlainText>Advisor Assignments uses the "work" phone number. From UAccess Employee – log into Employee – Main Menu – Self Service – Personal Information – Phone Numbers. Check to make sure a ‘Work’ number exists. If it does, edit it to your preferred number. If it doesn’t exist, click “Add a Phone Number”. From there you will be able to select “work” as the phone type. Once you are satisfied with your update(s) click Save.
