 need a very compelling reason; there is little to no flexibility given the large number of students these courses serve. After the first meeting of a lab section, changing sections is blocked because each section is taught with a different style and assignments;
 you'd be behind intellectually and possibly in terms of graded assignments as well.<o:p></o:p></span></p>

 Honors work will be weighted into the final grade for lecture. Students will hear and interact with faculty about faculty research, advance problem-solving skills and increase understanding of Intro Bio topics. The course culminates in working with a faculty
 mentor to understand a key scientific paper and explain it to peers.<o:p></o:p></span></p>
