Previously, the Course Subject field displayed only the description for each department’s name, and users could only see the subject prefix on the search results page for each course. The Course Subject field now displays the subject prefix, followed by the subject description for each department. This addition will help to differentiate departments with similar names, and will assist users that want to search for a course for which they know the prefix and catalog number, but not the department name.
