The Fair is designed to assist students in exploring their choices of majors, whether they are currently undecided or contemplating</span><br><span class="quoted11">a change of major. Our goal is to have all undergraduate programs represented</span><br><span class="quoted11">at the Fair.</span><br><br><span class="quoted11">This year’s Fair will be held on Tuesday, September 27th from 10 am-1 pm in the</span><br><span class="quoted11">Student Union Ballroom. The date of the fair was moved earlier in the semester in order to give those students wishing to change their major an opportunity to do so before priority registration. We will provide a table and two chairs for your area and lunch for two department representatives. Please limit representation to two people at any given time. We invite you to try unique and interesting ways to display your major that will capture students' attention and draw them over to see you. In addition, please bring handouts and literature on your program that students can take with them. Students also report it helpful to see lists of careers associated with different majors. It is preferable that departments send faculty or professional advisors to represent their major. In the past student representatives have proven to be an effective complement to professional representation.</span><br><br><span class="quoted11">Over the past few years, we have averaged close to 90 academic majors and</span><br><span class="quoted11">approximately 1100 students in attendance at the Fair. We believe this event is</span><br><span class="quoted11">an excellent way to not only serve undecided students, but also to provide a</span><br><span class="quoted11">forum for departments and majors to showcase their opportunities and</span><br><span class="quoted11">accomplishments.</span><o:p></o:p></p><p class="MsoNormal"><b>To RSVP for the Meet Your Major Fair:<o:p></o:p></b></p><p class="MsoNormal"><b>Please click on this link to fill out the response form by September 15<sup>th</sup>.
