This course is only for <br>students who score below 30% on the Prep for College Algebra <br>exam or below 25% on the Prep for calculus class. <br><br>International students must be full time, so <b>will not</b> be in <br>the PREP group and <b>will </b>be able to enroll in 12 or more units,<br>even if they place at the Math 100AX level. <br><br>However, international students who place at the level of math <br>100AX can take this course. Direct these students to the Math <br>Department room 108 to add math 100AX. They can also email <br><a href="mailto:placement@math.arizona.edu">placement@math.arizona.edu</a> . They will not take the SAS 100AX course.<br><br>Freshman (non-international) students who place at the level of <br>Math 100AX who are in the appropriate major or group will be <br>scheduled into math 100AX and SAS 100AX as they had been in <br>previous orientation sessions as long as seats are available. <br>Direct students to Rachel Beech for questions or assistance<br>with this. <br><br><b>Math 100:</b><br>Math 100 if full. We are not adding more sections of Math 100. We <br>are expecting students to retest and place higher to open some <br>seats. Students will need to continue to check the registration <br>system for an available seat. Students who place into Math 100<br>should not take Math 100AX instead and will not be able to <br>register for Math 100AX. <br><br><b>Math registration in general:</b><br>We are working on opening some seats in Math 109C, Math 112, <br>and a few other courses. If a student is trying to register <br>for a math course at or above the level of Math 100, the student <br>will need to continue to check the registration system for an <br>available seat. Please do not send them to math advisors at <br>orientation or to the Math Department. We will direct them <br>to the online registration system.
