Greetings CALES Agvisors and CAS colleagues:

Hope this email finds you all well.  I am excited to share that we are welcoming a new colleague, Azucena Palomares, to our CALES advising team as an Academic Advisor II for the School of NSW beginning December 8, 2025.

Azucena is a proud CALES alum with extensive University of Arizona and firsthand knowledge of the student experience and connection to our college mission. She brings experience working with multiple campuses here at UA along with a strong commitment to student success.

In this new role, Azucena will be advising students in NSW majors for both main and online campuses and will be physically located in the Shantz building. Further details on caseload distribution and room location will be shared once confirmed.  In the interim, please help me extend a warm congratulatory CALES welcome to Azucena!
