Dear Advisors,



This Fall, English 109H (~15 sections) will be reserved for HONORS COLLEGE students only.  After talks between the Honors College and the Writing Program, the fall sections of ENGL109H will once again be opened for Honors students only so that they retain a cohort experience.  However, in Spring 2026, the sections of ENGL109H will be available to any student who has selected the course for their English requirement.



The Orientation pre-scheduler does not enroll for ENGL109H. Seats will be released after the pre-scheduler has run.



We will be saving a few seats in the Fall term for emergencies. You may reach out to Sara Vickery (sev at arizona.edu<mailto:sev at arizona.edu>) to request a student be enrolled in one of those seats.
