[Agvisors] CALES Major Videos

Hi Agvisors,

I hope you're doing well! Lauren and I are prepping for the upcoming school year and would love to include short videos from you in our CALES Ambassador training.

We're asking each advisor (or a designated representative) to record a 30-second to 1-minute video introducing the major(s) you advise for. If you advise multiple majors, please submit a separate video for each. These will be used throughout our retreat to help ambassadors better understand and promote our programs. Nancy might also use them for advising training purposes!

Don't be fancy. A recorded video over zoom or on your phone is wonderful.

Please coordinate within your advising teams to decide who will record each video. If you'd prefer a faculty member to speak on a major, that's totally fine! The goal is to provide a quick, engaging overview that touches on the name of the major, what it's all about, and any standout opportunities (internships, research, etc.). This is essentially your "pitch" to an incoming student who asks, "What is this major?"
