Hi, Agvisors:

I wanted to share with you the event lineup for the 2025 CALES New Student Welcome!<https://cales.arizona.edu/new-student-welcome-2025> Welcome events are open to all new students in CALES with the goal of students meeting peers, getting connected to support resources, and to encourage an overall sense of belonging during the first few weeks of the fall semester.

Open House
Saturday, August 23
1 – 3 pm
Forbes Building

  *   All student-facing CAS members & FY advisors<https://arizona.box.com/s/5xwetn3dkkvt19vb6mdb2c0s3o2ns4qv> asked to be present to engage with students & their families

Student Success Ice Cream Social
Thursday, August 28
3 – 4:30 pm
Forbes Building

  *   Members of Learning Lab, Career Center, Wellness & Mental Health, and Student Engagement present to table and share specific resources with new students
     *   Additional CAS members, advisors & faculty welcome

*NEW* First Gen Fall Welcome Mixer
Thursday, September 4
4 – 5:30 pm
Forbes Building

  *   First Gen staff & faculty highly encouraged to attend
  *   Co-led by Leslie & Daniel

Club Fair
Thursday, September 11
5 – 6:30 pm
ENR2 Courtyard

  *   No presence from CAS / Advising needed
  *   If you want a table for your program, you may RSVP to attend (invite goes out in July/Aug)

I am going to send you all calendar invitations. As you can see, some of the events you may be asked to attend, others may just be an FYI. I wanted to send this note so you all can plan accordingly.
