[Agvisors] Request to Review Unit Websites for Degree Accuracy – Edits Due by August 8

Dear Advisors,
As we prepare for the upcoming semester, I’m reaching out to ask for your assistance in reviewing our academic unit websites to ensure the accuracy of degree information and program offerings.
Your attention to detail is greatly appreciated—accurate, student-friendly information is critical for helping prospective and current students navigate their academic paths. Please submit your review and any edit requests by Thursday, August 8.
Please focus your attention on:

  *
Clear and current program descriptions of degrees, minors, and certificates
  *
Any outdated or incorrect content related to academic offerings, graduate coordinators, advisors represented, etc.

Over the next few weeks, our Marcom team will begin doing overarching edits to refresh design and replace images, as well as working with unit heads to ensure other aspects of our unit websites - directories, research, Extension, and giving portals - are reviewed and updated.

CALES main website
I am working with an advisor working group to amend and update the advisor portal on CALES main. I'll be working to implement a new system in the coming weeks that better reflects the new advisor structure and degree support. CAS and my team are also working to better position support services and student portals on the CALES main website. Stay tuned for more to come on that front soon!
