Hello CRC,

July 1 is officially in the rearview mirror, and I hope you all have some fun plans to celebrate the 4th this weekend! With this important date behind us, I wanted to share a few updates for the students you’re working with.

Committed Students: Any student who has paid their Enrollment Fee, but not yet selected an Academic Connection Date should be encouraged to do so. Students who do not select and attend one of the remaining August Orientations will not be eligible to enroll this fall.

First-year students: All first-year students who had not yet completed their enrollment fee have been cancelled due to the July 1 deadline. Barring extenuating circumstances, this deadline is firm, and students should be encouraged to apply for a future term. If you are working with a student that believes they have extenuating circumstances, please have them contact their recruiter.

Transfer students:

  *   July 1 was also the application deadline for transfer students. Any recently admitted or soon-to-be-admitted students have a 2-week grace period to commit from the date of the admission.
  *   All transfer students admitted prior to June 17 who had not yet completed their enrollment fee have been cancelled.
  *   Special note: Briefly, yesterday, recently applied transfer students were incorrectly cancelled alongside these students. This has been reversed, and these students notified of the error, as of this morning. For those students who met the July 1 application deadline, provided all required materials, and are later admitted, they will have the 2-week grace period to commit from their date of the admission.

International students: Due to additional complications with visas and other requirements, international students were provided a longer grace period to commit. International students who have not yet committed and have an admission date older than June 17 will be cancelled on the morning of Monday, July 7. Accommodations will be made for sponsored students.

As a reminder, all domestic students are no longer eligible to request a deferral of their admission. Exceptions exist for international students due to visa complications. We are also no longer providing the option to defer a student’s enrollment fee for fall 2025, any student who has not yet committed must pay the enrollment fee at the time of committing.

Greetings!

I hope that you all are having a wonderful summer. Tis’ the time of year to begin finalizing our incoming class! 🎉

On July 2, Enrollment Management will be canceling students who have not made their commitment to the institution. We wanted to ensure that everyone had a clear snapshot of the students who will be falling into this category and the timeline for these updates.

What’s the population?

  *   Summer or Fall 2025 Admit Term, Main Campus

  *   First-Year or Transfer, Domestic only

     *   Transfer students admitted after June 17th will have a two-week grace period before cancellations begin.

  *   Students who are in: Deferral Denied, Intends to Pay (by Mail or Online) or have no active Enrollment Fee status. If a student is in Intends to Pay and has attended or is registered for their Academic Connection Date, they will not be canceled.

What’s the timeline?

  *   Students have until 11:59 pm on July 1 to take action and pay their Enrollment Fee

  *   The cancellation process will run at 7 am on July 2 to clear any students who are in the above category

Students are also no longer eligible to request a deferment of their admission as the process is officially closed. If there are students who either fall into this category or are hoping to defer to another term, please encourage them to submit a new application for a future semester.
