[Agvisors] CALES Recruitment Save the Date- Preview Day on February 15, 2025

Hi everyone,
Happy New Year! I hope you all had some restful time off. As Lauren mentioned, we're asking that you save the date for February 15th for our new Preview Day. We already have 31 students registered (total over 80 people). Our goal is to get to 50 by the time of our event.

Many of these students use that day to determine whether or not the UofA is the right choice for them. We have also shifted it, as many have requested campus tours in the morning OR they have complained of late evenings/early mornings when coming down from Phoenix.

Once Lauren and I have touched base in the later part of next week, we will reach back out with more details. In the meantime, please email me the contact person for your unit for the day-of. Ideally, we'd like representation from each of the units at the college browse.

Additionally, you will be receiving more information about the following events in the upcoming weeks, so we ask that you save these dates. These will be the only weekend asks for the semester:
Saturday, February 15: Preview Day (details above)
Saturday, March 1: FFA CDE Career Fair (typically 12pm - 2pm, waiting for confirmation)
Saturday, April 12: Admitted Student Day (times TBD, but usually 10am - 1pm)

Happy Friday! CALES Recruitment will be hosting our annual Preview Day (formerly known as Open House) on February 15, 2025 in ENR2. This event is our marquee CALES event to welcome prospective first year and transfer students applying for Fall 2025. The browse portion of the event will take place from 12:00-1:15 pm, with setup beginning at 11:15. Please plan to have at least one advisor present to represent your unit's programs. We will follow up in the New Year with additional details.
