You are all my key partners in following up with students after the surveys – THANK YOU. I know it is a time commitment, and I recognize how busy you all are aside from Pulse.

An ask for you: When classes begin, please encourage students in your CALES course(s) to take the weekly CALES Pulse Survey.

The CALES Pulse Survey asks students up to seven quick questions each week about their academic life.
Our goals are to:

  *   Connect students to CALES services when they need support.
  *   Take a “pulse” on how students are doing.

How You Can Help – Please share this with your students:

  *   Download the promo slides from this Box link<https://arizona.box.com/s/bvsvqouoooiouxege6ke0zs6fdh7afwq>. You can:
     *   Post to your Brightspace (formerly D2L) class page.
     *   Show the PPT slide with QR code before class each week.
     *   Send an email encouraging participation (draft language is in the Box folder to save you time).

Why It Matters for Our Students

  *   Directly supports retention and graduation.
  *   If a student requests help in a survey, CALES Advisors and Career & Academic Services experts will follow up directly.

  *   Anyone enrolled in your class - even non-CALES majors.
