That site also links to UA sites as if they are collaborating with UA programs, specifically they link out to the degree search site for PFFP for financial planning relevant courses they offer. It is misleading as it appears as though their courses might satisfy UA degree or certification requirements, at first glance. @Ortega, Tiffany - (tortega)<mailto:tortega at arizona.edu> See the bottom of this page<https://cfdstucson.thinkific.com/courses/uofa-access-financial-reporting-and-analysis-certificate> and this one<https://cfdstucson.thinkific.com/courses/uofa-access-financial-consulting-certificate>
If PFFP is not collaborating with Center for Digital Studies, you might consider informing your students that the Center is not affiliated with PFFP and to not engage with them, if that's something your program doesn't support.
One of my ABEM majors was sent information regarding their economics courses. I'm concerned for those students that don't ask about it and sign up and pay money for the Center's courses and/or expose their private info to what appears to be a predatory program targeting our UA students.

Subject: Center for Digital Studies unsolicted outreach to UA students

Hi All,
There seems to be increased unsolicited outreach to UA students and to their Catmail addresses ongoing. I had a student contact me yesterday about the uagc programs-unsolicited outreach they received and another student today receiving unsolicited outreach from a place called Center for Digital studies- https://cfdstucson.thinkific.com/ and this group's site look sketchy to me and with little info on their site re: who they are and who runs/owns it. Looks like a money grab as they are targeting UA students in the info on the site. Sharing with you in case your students contact you about it.
In an upcoming CALES Connect or a CALES social media post, can we recommend students be extra cautious with digital communications, clicking on links or responding to unsolicited outreach? I'm unsure how to inform students but they are being targeted, imo. The student from today also mentioned that text messages come in and ask them to complete surveys because they are UA students, but the surveys are not from UA and they didn't sign up for them.

Thank You,
