Subject: Data Wrangling in R Course
Hi Katelyn,
Could you please forward this flyer and the following information to the CALES advisors network? Because this is a mixed undergraduate and graduate course, I would really appreciate if advisors could forward this email to both groups of students.
I'm excited to be teaching my Data Wrangling in R for Ecologists* (WFSC 496B/596B) course again next semester! (*but you don't have to be an ecologist to take the course). Please see the attached flyer.
This is a mixed undergrad/grad course that covers key concepts of working with data in R: management, cleaning, wrangling, curating, visualization, and more! We will also cover version control with git/GitHub.
Importantly, we start from the basics, so no previous experience with computer programming is required!
I'm happy to answer any questions about the course.
Best,
Ellen Bledsoe
