The LatinX Staff & Faculty Association is hosting our annual awards ceremony on Friday, May 3, 2024. We also have our call for awards nominations open! The deadline to apply is Sunday, March 17, 2024. Here is the link to the application.<https://forms.gle/yvNmXWcRWs8tJwSU9> There are four awards this year:

Promising Employee Award
     *   1-5 years
     *   This individual has worked in the academic or professional field for 1-5 years and has promoted the LFSA core values on and off campus through various activities. The candidate does not have to be a member of LFSA.
        *   The core values are:
Connection: Fostering relationships, support, network, and servingness
Community: Sense of belonging and empowerment
Culture: Representation, recognition, and shared values

Employee Excellence Award
     *   6-10 years
     *   This individual has worked 6-10 years in the academic or professional field and has been actively involved with LFSA. They have enhanced our campus culture and Latinx community via campus programs or initiatives.
  *
Dr. Marla Franco HSI Servingness Award
     *   Extraordinary vision, dedication, and service to the Latinx Community.
     *   This award is given to a Latinx Faculty and Staff Association (LFSA) member who has supported the efforts of the Latinx community through leadership, service, innovation, and encouragement toward its success. This individual has brought the needs of Latinx students and professionals at the University of Arizona and higher education to the forefront.

J.D. Celina Ramirez Award:
     *   10+ years

     *   Awarded to an outstanding Senior-Level LatinX Faculty and Staff Association (LFSA) Professional. This individual has worked 10+ years within the academic or professional field and has made significant contributions to the Latinx community on their campus or greater community. This award is named after Celina Ramirez, who was integral in establishing the LFSA at the University of Arizona.
