[Agvisors] What to Do if a New Student wants to Cancel Admissions

Good morning team!

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a restful weekend. As we are getting closer to the start of the year. We know students are finalizing their decisions of attending the UA. I am hoping this will not be a large number of students but if you have a student who reaches out to you about how to cancel their admissions. Please make sure you are including these items:

  *   Drop all of their courses they are enrolled in UAccess.
     *   If they are enrolled in Schedule for Success, post in the Teams Chat requesting for the student to be dropped from MATH 100 and SAS 100AX.
     *   CALS 195C - send a message in the Agvisors Teams Chat and one of the CAS Advisors will drop the course.
  *   Cancel Admissions
     *   Direct students to their Next Steps Center > Path to Enrollment > Secure Your Spot
     *   On the right side of the screen, they will click on "Cancel Admissions"
     *   [cid:79c89652-f893-447e-95c9-3f58f0041ae7]
  *   Cancel Housing (if applicable)
     *   Remind students, to refer to their My UAHome<https://arizona.starrezhousing.com/StarRezPortalX/> site and submit the "Cancellation Request"
