McLean Transfer Scholarship, $2000

Eligibility:
·  Transfer student from an Arizona community college (transfer students have transferred in at least 12 units of credit and are designated as Transfer admits in UAccess) and
·  Successful completion of a UArizona math class above the level of pre-calculus and
·  STEM major (Science, Technology, Engineering, or Math) at the University of Arizona

As much as possible, the McLean transfer scholar will be chosen with attention to their overall GPA, their mathematical aptitude, and emerging leadership within the community.



Notes:

  *   Scholarship money will be disbursed into the recipient's Bursar's account in January, in time to be used for spring tuition, so students graduating in December are *not* eligible to apply.
  *   The endowment is also very clear that students must have already completed a math course here at UArizona, so brand-new transfer students are not eligible for this application cycle. This is an annual award, so they may apply next time.
