Hello Serena,

I hope you are doing well. I am emailing in hopes that you'll help us spread the word at CALS and with CALS First Cats that the Thrive Center will be hiring student workers for paid positions for New Start (summer) and other Thrive programs (22-23 academic year). I’m sending it to you because you’re the person I know at CALS, but if it should go to someone else, please feel free to forward it to them or send me their contact info.

We have several open positions that require different skills and consist of varying levels of commitment. I've included a general hiring flyer and a couple of position-specific (i.e. First Cats & Transfer) flyers because we think the students you work with would be a great fit for these positions. While the flyer options are slightly different, they all lead students to the same application. Students only need to fill out one application, even if they are applying to several positions.

The copies I shared with you are for digital, but if you want physical copies I can have some printed for you.

Summer 2022 & Academic Year 2022-2023 Employment Opportunities

Thrive Center is now hiring for summer 2022 and the 2022-2023 academic year. Thrive Center employs over 80 student employees each year. There are multiple positions within our office that include peer mentors, peer educators, community coordinators, and student assistants. The New Start Summer Program also hires resident assistants and tutors. Each student staff member plays an important role in our office.
