Good morning.



The university will be moving from netid at email.arizona.edu<mailto:netid at email.arizona.edu> to netid at arizona.edu<mailto:netid at arizona.edu> for all UA logins over the weekend of July 8th through July 10th.  Essentially, this means that from that point forward when you login to applications such as Office 365, Box, OneDrive, Adobe, UA websites, Zoom, Google, and more, you will be using netid at arizona.edu<mailto:netid at arizona.edu> for your username.  UITS has been planning this for months now, but just to be clear, there WILL be issues that occur for all users on (and off) campus.  UITS is anticipating a significant increase in calls to 24/7 support during and after that time, so please understand the massive undertaking that is about to occur and try to show patience with whatever issues that may arise.  UITS has been testing various systems and scenarios the best that they can, but not every scenario can be addressed before then.



I will do my best to assist with any issues related to the change, but also be aware that 24/7 support can also assist where necessary.  24/7 support can be reached at 520-626-8324 and also at Contact the 24/7 Support Center | Information Technology | University of Arizona<https://it.arizona.edu/contact-247-support-center> website, which includes the ability to communicate over chat, or submitting a ticket directly for issues at Service Portal - Service Portal (service-now.com)<https://uarizona.service-now.com/sp>.  Of course, they are available to help with issues beyond the pending change to @email.arizona.edu accounts.  They support both issues with university products and devices, along with personal devices.



This is something that has been years in the making, and it will finally be coming to fruition over that weekend.  It truly is a massive undertaking for UITS that will involve moving 40k students from @email.arizona.edu to @arizona.edu, so again we ask that users show patience during the transition.
