Hi Everyone,

Below is a notification of an upcoming UAccess Student upgrade scheduled for this Saturday.  This upgrade brings noticeable changes to the user interface and we would appreciate your help sharing this message within your departments, and with your campus partners alike. Thank you.
On Saturday, July 23, UAccess Student will be upgraded to bring added security benefits and enhancements to the user interface. To complete this upgrade, UAccess Student will be unavailable Saturday, July 23, from 4 a.m. to 10 a.m.
Below are the changes you will notice when you log into UAccess Student on Monday, July 25.

Personalize Your Homepage
·         The homepage now includes a quick access bar on the left, which provides one-click access to Most Recently Visited pages (up to 10 entries) and Your Favorites.
·         Users can customize their homepages including My Homepage via the Personalize Homepage option found by clicking the Actions icon (vertical three-dot menu) in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
·         Users can navigate between homepages using the homepage selector on the left or the previous/next buttons of the new homepage navigator on the right.
Navigation

·         NavBar now includes a persisted breadcrumb at the top of the menu allowing for quick access within the navigation hierarchy.

o   This is replacing the classic breadcrumb menu which appeared above the banner since Oracle is no longer supporting classic navigation.

·         Navigation menu is now delivered in alphabetical order.  Users can toggle back to the Standard menu display by clicking the gear icon in the top right-hand corner of the NavBar: Menu, clicking Standard, and save.
Favorites

·         Users may notice changes to their list of Favorites because Oracle redelivered certain pages which can result in the favorite being removed. Users can use the Enhanced Global Search to quickly find the page and reset any missing favorites.
Enhanced Global Search
·         A Global Search box now appears in the center of the homepage or as a Search icon located on the upper right-hand side while on pages:
·         One click in the search bar, immediately displays search suggestions that narrow as you type.
·         Menu item descriptions and labels have been improved.
·         Search suggestions are presented based on your recently visited menu items combined with those of others using the system.
