Dear Colleagues,
I would like to bring to your attention the upcoming changes to the course requisites for ANIMAL AND PLANT GENETICS PLS/ACBS 312 offered in Spring semester.
The new requisites will include (a) Introductory Biology MCB181R, AND (b) General Chemistry CHEM 151 OR 141/143 OR 161/163, AND CHEM 152 OR 142/144 OR 162/164.
It is recommended that students take Introductory Biology Lab MCB181L and the first semester of Organic Chemistry CHEM 246A.
The new requisites do not go into effect until Spring 2023. However, I recommend that the current students be made aware of these changes as those with the above requisites will be better prepared for the existing course.
Regards,
Ramin Yadegari, Ph.D.
Instructor, PLS/ACBS 312, Spring 2022
