Hello Advisors,

Please encourage your students to attend the career fairs. We have 50 students RSVP for tonight and I think 20, several not even registered, ended up attending. We had 7 great organizations looking and hiring for 100s of positions. So the students that attended got significant opportunity to connect and get leads. I have pasted information you can copy and share directly with your students. Please ask faculty you work with to share as well - the broader we can get the message the better.

Join us for the CALS Career Fairs - employers are looking specifically for CALS students so don’t miss this opportunity!

All of the career fairs are hosted from 4pm to 6pm. Beginning at 4pm all employers will give a brief overview of the organization and the positions they are recruiting for (internship or full time). Then there will be breakout sessions and you can move freely between breakout rooms to connect with employers. This will allow you to learn more about the organization, how to apply to their opportunities, and schedule a 1:1 follow-up meeting or interview. If you have class or other commitments and can only attend for part of the fair, that is fine - just show up. Zoom links for each fair are linked below.
