Hello Agvisors: A heads up that the following message was just sent to the ~300 students who are eligible/want to walk in the December 2021 CALS Graduation Convocation ceremony.

Congratulations to all CALS Class of 2021! The College of Agriculture & Life Sciences is eager to celebrate your success at our in-person Graduation Convocation ceremony.
CALS Graduation Convocation Ceremony
Friday, December 17, 2021
9 am, Centennial Hall
The Convocation RSVP will open in the next couple of days; you'll receive an email to your UArizona email as soon as it's available.
The Convocation RSVP system will be open through 12/6/2021. You'll be able to return to the system and edit your responses up until 12/6/2021.
Here's the questions you'll be asked in the Convocation RSVP:

  *   How many tickets do you want? Students who RSVP by the deadline, 12/6, are guaranteed up to 10 tickets.
  *   Are you attending the CALS Senior Sendoff? The Senior Sendoff is scheduled for Thursday, 12/16, starting at 11:30 am. Guests are welcome. If you're attending, how many guests will you bring?
  *   Photo: Do you have a photo(s) you'd like to upload? If so, we'll select a photo to use during the graduation ceremony.
  *   Quote/Thank You Message: Would you like to share a quote or message of thanks for your family/supporters? If so, we'll use your message during the graduation ceremony. Max of 150 characters (including spaces).
Additionally, graduate students (Master's and Doctoral) will be asked to provide the name of their faculty advisor. Graduate students: it's your responsibility to ask/invite your faculty advisor to hood you.

Graduation FAQ
For the December ceremony, how many guests can I invite?
- Short answer: 10
- Long answer:

  *   The December CALS Graduation Convocation is held in Centennial Hall. For that reason, all guests must have a ticket. Students can initially request a maximum of 10 guest tickets.
  *   If tickets are remaining after the RSVP deadline, students will be allowed to request additional tickets on a first-come, first-served basis. Students will be notified by email the week of December 13 if additional tickets are available.
  *   Although tickets are issued, guest seating is not assigned. All guest seating is general admission style and is available on a first come - first served basis.
What happens at the Convocation ceremony?
All students who participate in the in-person Convocation ceremony will:

  *   have their name read,
  *   walk across stage,
  *   receive a medallion as a graduation memento,
  *   be hooded (Master's and Doctoral students only).
Additionally, all guests will receive a print program listing the names of all graduating students.
