[Agvisors] Friday's Retreat

Good afternoon Agvisors,

We look forward to seeing you all Friday morning for Part 1 of our semi-annual advising retreat! Between the two days topics will include retention updates, eSMS updates/functionality, the SALT initiative, advising philosophies, campus re-entry, orientation, and other professional development. More specific agendas will be provided for each of the days.

Our professional development committee has identified collaboration on technology tips and time-savors to be something that we could all likely benefit from. Therefore, for Friday's meeting, we will ask that you all come prepared with one or two practices you use regularly that you find helps with your efficiency in advising. Ideally this would be a tool, template, or tip that can be used by any advisor across CALS in our daily functioning.

While there are no limits on what you can share with the team, some examples of what we had in mind are: specific apps or websites you love, email templates that help you save time, excel tricks you've learned, or maybe even how you manage your inbox or calendar.

We look forward to sharing best practices,
