Subject: 3/30 & 3/31: Graduation Filming Opportunity

As we prepare for the May 2021 combination CALS/UArizona graduation ceremony, University Marketing is supporting the colleges by making a video team available to CALS faculty, staff and students to record your graduation messages. This is a great opportunity - one that we encourage the CALS community to take advantage of. Filming will take place outside and will follow health and safety protocols. Nancy Montoya<https://marcomm.arizona.edu/person/nancy-montoya> and a videography crew are available this week on a drop in basis:

  *   Tuesday, March 30 from 10am-12pm at Old Main East Side Steps
  *   Tuesday, March 30 from 2-4pm at Forbes (1140 E. South Campus Dr.)
  *   Wednesday, March 31 from 10am-12pm at Education (1430 E. 2nd St.)

Who can participate?

  *   Any CALS faculty, staff, or students (graduating or not) are encouraged to drop in anytime during the scheduled hours listed above (you do not need to schedule a time). Media Release forms will be available on site with Nancy and her team, so participants will be able to note which college they are leaving messages for.
What will be recorded?

  *   Any encouraging, celebratory message you want to share with the graduating class of 2021. Your comments can be informal and non-scripted or you could opt to prepare a few notes.
How/when will your recording be displayed?

  *   Your recording will become part of the video pre-show that will be run in Arizona Stadium. The entire graduation celebration (including the pre-show video) will also be live-streamed and recorded online.
