Hello Agvisors,

The Career Destinations Survey for graduating students launched today and below is a sample email you can utilize to notify your students. I know Gabrielle includes this messaging in her communications regarding graduation events and it would be great if you can encourage you students to complete it as well. This information is valuable for us to be able to identify where our alumni are going and is the data shared nationally so it helps the exposure for CALS the more responses we have.

The USDA direct-hire event will be postponed until March 31 and for good reason! The USDA has not posted all eligible job postings and therefore, cannot hire all potentially eligible students. They want to allow time for these postings to be completed so they can offer more jobs to more students. Additionally, states are finalizing the need for positions and there will likely be more positions added by the new date of our event. I am awaiting notification from USDA on the students that have prequalified and I will contact them with an update as soon as I have that list. I will also email the students that did not qualify so they are not waiting.

Please let me know if you have any questions and thank you for all you are doing for our students.

With gratitude,
Bridget
