Mary Dillon, who provided our Motivational Interviewing training last year, is offering a free 4-part series online training for those interested in enhancing their skills. It will be geared more towards behavioral health clinicians, but the skillset is transferrable to advising. Please see flier below for more information if you are interested. The training is limited to 20 attendees for reference.

The Central Arizona Area Health Education Center is sponsoring Motivational Interviewing Learning Exchange to provide FREE Motivational Interviewing Fundamentals Webinar (series) training.
Because of the late notice there will not be any CEUs for this training, however participants will receive a Certificate of Attendance (no credit).

Motivational Interviewing (MI) is a particular way of having a conversation so it is the client rather than the counselor/clinician who talks about change.  It's an evidence-based approach that provides a framework of principles, processes and skills for effective conversations about change.
July 12, 15, 19 and 22, 2021  Each Session is from  9:00-11:00 AZ Time Zone  ATTENDANCE FOR ALL DATES REQUIRED
This MI Fundamentals webinar training is designed for professionals/professionals-in-training in the behavioral counseling occupations with at least some exposure to having conversations with clients.
It is designed over four separate sessions to allow participants time to really learn and use MI with their clients between sessions. This training is limited to 20 participants who are able to attend all four 2-hour webinar sessions.
