Hello Everyone,

Happy Monday! I hope you all had a wonderful weekend!

I wanted to provide you all with some updates regarding deferment.

  *   Main Campus students who were originally admitted for fall 2020 and spring 2021 to main campus are no longer able to submit a deferment request as the deadline has passed.
  *   The website still has a page for students who were originally admitted for fall 2020 and spring 2021 so the students who deferred by the deadline can refer to those FAQS.

We have a new website for all deferment options broken out by campus found here https://admissions.arizona.edu/info/deferment.

Policy updates for summer/fall 2021 main campus admits (please refer to the website for more details)

  *   The deferment option is available to First Year and Transfer students for main campus.
  *   In order to be eligible for deferment they must pay their enrollment fee and not enroll at any other institution
  *   Eligibility for deferment is for the following reasons only: Medical, Military, Faith Based Mission, Gap Year Experienced (no credit), or Visa Complications
  *   Main campus students can go to the Defer Your Admission tab in their Future Wildcat account to submit their deferment request.
  *   Conditions and steps for deferment are outlined on the website

Policy updates for summer/fall 2021 Arizona Online, Near You Network and Global Direct Online (please refer to the website for more details)

  *   Students from these campuses are able to request a change of admission start term
  *   Since these campuses do not require an Enrollment fee - they do not have to pay an Enrollment fee to request a change of admission start term
  *   Arizona Online, Near You Network and Global Direct Online students can go to the Change Admission Start Term tab in their Future Wildcat account to submit their change of start term request.
  *   Conditions and steps for change of admission start term are outlined on the website
