[Agvisors] USDA Direct Hiring Event - March 9 - May 2021 and Recent Graduates Encouraged to Apply

As I previewed last week, below is the information on the USDA direct hire event. Pre-qualified students will be given an opportunity to interview and possible receive an offer on March 9 - this is a fantastic opportunity. Please share the email below and the flier with May 2021 graduates and with any recent alumni that you may know. I will post this on the CALS LinkedIn page, ask alumni development to post on BearDown Network, and we are sharing with other institutions in AZ. You are invited to join a USDA Farm Production and Conservation Virtual Hiring Event on March 9, 2021 from 10:00am to 3:00pm (MST).  Attached is a flyer listing the positions that USDA-FPAC is hiring. FPAC Agencies include: Natural Resources Conservation Service; Farm Service Agency; Risk Management Agency; and the FPAC-Business Center.

These are entry-level job opportunities and to qualify you must be graduating Spring 2021, be a recent graduate, or have a qualifying degree and credentials.

To register for pre-qualification for this event, please follow this link to complete a registration form (https://forms.gle/wTuDY9TiSZgbQj3z7). You must complete the registration form by March 1, 2021 at 8am for your materials to be reviewed for pre-qualification. If you are eligible for interview, you will receive an email with the event information on the afternoon of March 5. Students eligible for interview may be offered a position the day of interview - this is a direct hire event.
