Are you interested in gene editing in domestic livestock?

Do you know what it is, what do you think of it?

We’d like to know!



This Saturday, April 17th 2021 at 11am, University of California, in collaboration with Washington State University, will be hosting a UC David Virtual Picnic Day Event where hosts and participants will discuss gene editing in domestic livestock and the perceptions that surround this technological innovation.


This event is part of a Social Interaction & Consumer Acceptance of Genome Editing in Domestic Livestock project funded by the United States Department of Agriculture (USDA), and the project is meant to help us further understand perceptions about genome editing in the domestic livestock industry.


Registering for the event means that you will fill out a short online survey, before and after the event, and attend the event this Saturday.  You are allowed to withdraw from the event at any time, but a full completion of the event merits a $5 Starbucks gift card to the first 200 applicants that register and complete the event.
