Greetings HSI Colleagues,

Please forward this information regarding the AHSIE Seed to Tree Student Scholarship to your institution's student listservs:

The Alliance of Hispanic Serving Institution Educators will be awarding several scholarships for students, which will include registration to attend the 13th Annual 2021 AHSIE Best Practices Conference scheduled March 15-17, 2021. Scholarship categories include: associate’s level, bachelor’s level, and graduate/doctoral levels.

  *   Recipients will be selected based on the following eligibility requirements:
  *   First-Generation college student
  *   Attend an HSI in U.S. or Puerto Rico
  *   Currently working under or with/or employed by HSI grant
  *   Enrolled full-time in Fall 2020 and Spring 2021
  *   Pell-eligible (undergraduate applicants only)
  *   Undocumented students are eligible to apply
  *   Cumulative GPA of 3.0 or higher
  *   Completed application (including 3 imbedded short essays)
  *   Scholarship recipients must attend the AHSIE Conference (presented virtually)
The ideal candidate will demonstrate not only academic achievement, but also the potential for leadership and contribution to the community. By attending this conference, we hope to provide students the ability to broaden experiences, develop networks and foster mentorship possibilities with HSI designated campus professionals.

The award package includes cash scholarship, conference registration, and recipients will be honored at the AHSIE Conference.
