[Agvisors] Tuesday Tip/Instagram Opportunity

Hello Agvisors: At today's meeting I mentioned CALS' Marketing's new Instagram "Tuesday Tip" initiative. The goal is to share brief, 10-15 second videos with specific info/action item for students. They've reached out to student leaders for content; we're hoping advisors will contribute content as well.

How to Participate
Our "Tuesday Tips" videos will be posted over the span of the semester. The topic you select could be calendar related (e.g. priority registration) or evergreen content (e.g. why students should see an advisor, etc).

If you'd like to participate, please upload a 10-15 second clip to our box folder here: https://arizona.box.com/s/hip3elyka3mbaiyz10csdou9h3ejsp66.
In addition, please submit a media release form, attached to this email. Please upload it with your first and last name.

We ask that the video be in the following format:

  1.  Please record your video in a horizontal format. We will be cropping the image to fit an IG post. Please keep this in mind and try to record yourself in the middle of your frame.
  2.  When speaking, just launch right into your content. No need to say your name (we'll add that to your video) and no need to say "Tuesday Tips".
  3.  Please wear non-branded or UArizona clothing. Red and blue is highly encouraged.
  4.  You come up with the topic! We want some type of tip for current and prospective students.
  5.  Energy! Please record with energy and excitement!
