Dear Faculty and Instructors:

The Pandemic Academic Coordination<https://provost.arizona.edu/content/pac> (PAC) workgroup has proposed the following two recommendations, which will become effective immediately for Academic Year 2020-2021.

  *   Suspend the 'W' Grade Unit Maximum<https://catalog.arizona.edu/policy/grades-and-grading-system#Withdrawal> (18 units) policy for Undergraduate students.
  *   Extend the Withdrawal deadline for the regular session fall semester to November 25th.

     *   Other sessions that have not ended will have an adjusted deadline<https://www.registrar.arizona.edu/dates-and-deadlines>.

Students are recommended to contact their Academic Advisor<https://advising.arizona.edu/content/academic-advisor-directory> or Graduate College contact <https://grad.arizona.edu/tools/programcontacts> prior to withdrawing from a class.
