It’s almost here!  Commencement 2020 is Friday, May 15 and we need you!

As a volunteer, you are part of a community that is instrumental in delivering an unforgettable experience to graduating students, their families, and their friends.

On Commencement day, you can expect to work from 3:30 p.m. to 10:30 p.m. While positions vary, the majority require volunteers to be outdoors with minimal shade and perform physical tasks such as holding signage, directing graduates and guests, handing out event programs, and distributing water bottles. Please note, volunteers may be asked to enforce safety policies, such as keeping aisles clear and directing non-wheelchair guests to appropriate seating areas. If you have concerns about performing such tasks, please let us know using the below form.

All volunteers are required to attend training; this will be an opportunity to meet one another and learn your important role in this large, complex campus event. Join us on Thursday, May 7, 2020, in Gallagher Theater from 2:00 p.m. to 4:00 p.m.

Volunteers will receive a t-shirt, clear bag, dinner, and up to two (2) baseball tickets to a May 2020 Arizona Baseball game.
