Hello Agvisors,

I want to share the following updates with you from Housing. I emailed asking for updates we can share with students and their supporters.

Jim and I have received a lot of questions around housing as we wait to see what the Fall semester will look like. We can also include these in July follow-up with students and their supporters.

Hi Serena,

Thanks for reaching out. I hope you are doing well!

We currently do not have anything scheduled until August 4, a webinar with Admissions. As you can imagine, we still have a ton of unknowns we are working with at this point and to that end we do not feel comfortable hosting large-format Q&As just yet. As always, we encourage students and families to contact us at housing at arizona.edu<mailto:housing at arizona.edu> or (520) 621-6501 M-F 10A-4P (AZ time).

Here are some general updates:

  *   We are not offering triple rooms, only double rooms and single rooms. This is of course subject to change but at this time, we have added more single rooms into our existing inventory, however we are not see a high demand for those rooms at this time.
  *   Our Room Selection process opened last week for students who applied for housing September 1-April 1.
  *   Babcock dorm will not be available for students, we are using it as an isolation dorm for Housing residents who become ill.
  *   Coconino dorm is not being offered at this time, due to anticipated lower occupancy.
  *   Yavapai dorm is undergoing renovation, it is expected to open for the fall semester as scheduled.
  *   Move-In dates are being finalized and will be shared very soon.

Let me know if there are any specific questions you may have at this time. Again, we don't have answers for everything but we are working hard to determine them as quickly as we can! If you can share our contact information as well as our website (housing.arizona.edu) in your July update, that would be much appreciated!!

The College of Agriculture & Life Sciences is preparing to send our July follow-up to our students who attended Orientation so far. Will Housing be offering any Q&A session or updates? We would love to include any information you have or would like us to share.
