[Agvisors] FYI: GenEd Preview Sessions, This Week

Hello: A heads up that a few CALS faculty are hosting GenEd Preview Sessions this week. The sessions will share a sneak peek of a CALS General Education course, connect new students and CALS faculty members, and help to answer any questions students may have about online courses. Jim Hunt will participate in all sessions as well. CALS Student Orientation Leaders will help facilitate the sessions.

New FR and TR students will/did receive the following communications about these sessions (content below):

  *   CALS SOL email and GroupMe (to their cohorts)
  *   A new student version of CALS Connect (scheduled for Sunday, 7/26)
  *   And, on each session day, an email with that particular session, zoom link and pw

Email CAS advising if you have any questions at all. A huge thank you to the faculty volunteering their time with this opportunity!!

Get a sneak peek of a CALS General Education course, meet amazing CALS faculty members, and get familiar with the D2L course format! CALS faculty are hosting four GenEd Preview sessions during the week of July 27. Their goal? To meet you, highlight one of their GenEd courses, and to answer any questions you have about online courses.
All sessions will share similar content but will be facilitated by different faculty members. Attend one or all four. Registration is not required, just join in!
