[Agvisors] CALS Student Satisfaction survey update

Greetings Agvisors team,

Blink and bam the first day of Spring 2019 classes is less than 24 hours away!  As we continue preparing for a productive and successful term ahead, I wanted to make you aware that a student satisfaction survey with student support and advising related questions will be sent to all CALS students.  It will come from me with the message below*.  An assessment at the college level has not been conducted, aside from the exit graduation survey, to obtain feedback from students on our current services and support.  If students reach out to you inquiring about it please encourage them to complete it.  It will be anonymous and look forward to sharing the results.  The Qualtrics survey will be available for two weeks, with the intent to send it out this week.

The survey includes questions comparable to a national survey that was administered by Civitas and Kinetic Generational, along with other assessment questions from NACADA partners focused on student satisfaction.  In the near future we will work on composing another survey for all of us to administer after meeting with students.  We will discuss and plan this further at the Agvisors meeting this month, with potential of creating an assessment working group based on interest.  In the interim, the short survey that will be sent out should provide us with valuable content to help us obtain a better understanding on student support and service satisfaction.
