Subject: [UPAC] Grade Replacement Opportunity (GRO) - Winter Session

Just before the holiday break we had an issue come up with students who were attempting to file a GRO for Winter Session. Students who qualified were unable to select their eligible courses during the filing process. Once we were aware of the issue, the problem was quickly identified within the term session table on UAccess and it was fixed.  We thought it best to extend the GRO filing deadline to the last day of Winter Session, 1-8-19 and posted this new date on the Registration Dates and Deadlines calendar, https://www.registrar.arizona.edu/courses/dates-deadlines?audience=students&cat1=10&cat2=30

Additionally, we wanted to make sure that any student who had attempted to file and could not would get their GRO. We processed GROs for 32 students who contacted us and qualified for GRO and we sent emails to an additional 40 “Potential GRO” students who met the criteria for GRO during Winter Session to let them know of the issue and of the extended deadline.
