One of our graduating seniors and CALS senator, Katie Christopher has recently become interested in becoming an academic advisor. I was hoping a few of you could connect with her to allow her to shadow you. We have awesome advisors in CALS and it would be a great opportunity for her to gain more insight into our field! "My name is Katie Christopher and I am a Senior studying Nutritional Sciences. I'm very interested in becoming an academic advisor post- graduation. I feel that academic advising combines communicating with students and leadership to motivate and encourage students to follow their passions and strive to be the best person and scholar that they can be! Working in the Student Nutrition Advising Center for the past two years has helped me to be very interested and invested in helping students meet their academic and personal goals in life. I would love to shadow other academic advisors who bring another perspective to what academic advising it and how it is done.
