Dear Career Council Colleagues,

At the end of our last meeting I mentioned that the Office of Undergraduate Research has a number of resources and events to support students (and to a lesser extent faculty) in pursing undergraduate research opportunities. We believe research to be a high impact and engaged learning activity which can also serve as a career exploration exercise as well.

We have a growing number of digital resources on our website (ur.arizona.edu<http://ur.arizona.edu/>) to support students in getting started with research, finding research opportunities, and maximizing the research experiences they participate in.

We also offer in person workshops and presentations (ur.arizona.edu/workshops<https://ur.arizona.edu/workshops>)which mirror the resources on our website, though attendance has been sporadic. If you have student populations who would be interested in finding out more how they can get involved in research, I would be more than happy to come out and present.

Attached you will find a 8.5x11 poster highlighting our office's services which you can share with students or post around campus (I'm happy to print out color copies and bring them to you as well). In addition we have a Facebook and Instagram account for the UR office (@CoSUndergradResearch and ua_ugresearch respectively) which you can like and follow if appropriate.
