[Agvisors] Reminders: STU 210 Transfer Orientations 10/9 and 10/12 AND Agvisors Meeting/Training 10/9

Greetings Agvisors:

Hope you all had a great weekend.  Friendly reminders for this week.  Tomorrow 10/9 we have an Agvisors meeting from 12-1:30pm at McPark 402.  From 12-1pm we will be trained on the new Next Steps Center that will be used by Summer and Fall 2019 admits.  It is my understanding that one must go through the training to gain access to the updated proxy site.  From 1-1:30pm we will discuss the agenda items below.  Lunch (sandwiches and chips) will be available.

*       CALS advisor promotion structure (continued from the 9/25 meeting)

*       STU 210 transfer orientation advising times

*       Structure of NACADA debrief for upcoming meetings/brown bags

This week we also have the two  STU210 transfer orientations. As of today we only have 3 students signed up between both sessions (very low enrollment in comparison to former terms). Maria will email the list of students signed up for each session, and you can also find the full UA list on the Box folder<https://arizona.box.com/s/vabpca719whloj75hk1sjenol5jdh5pt>

*       STU210 Transfer Orientation, Tuesday 10/9: college meeting from 4-5:45pm at Forbes 307 - Advising appointments will be scheduled through wise advise (students will leave the meeting with a scheduled time)

*       STU 210 Transfer Orientation, Friday 10/12: college meeting from 10:30am-12:20pm at Forbes 202 - advising appointment will be scheduled for either after the college meeting if advisors confirm their availability or through wise advise (same plan as above) - we can confirm the Friday advising time at the agvisors meeting tomorrow, also considering major changes.
