Please join UA colleagues and students as they explore micro-affirmations and the impact they have on student success.

After  this workshop, participants will be able to:

1.   Define what micro-affirmations are

  1.  Reflect how they may have been impacted by micro-affirmations in their own lives
  2.  Identify how micro-affirmations can be used in their campus unit to encourage sense of belonging to the students they serve
  3.  Develop an action plan/framework for implementing micro-affirmations in their work with students
  4.  Make initial connections between micro-affirmations, belonging and success in college
