[Agvisors] Email being sent out to graduating seniors

Greetings Agvisors,

It has also been requested to inform advisors in advance of submitting such notices so we all communicate the message appropriately to the students.  Reminders are great, but can sometimes be misunderstood.

Students may also be referred to me if they have questions or concerns.  Amanda and I still have some of the pink sheets and Julie is aware of which ones they are.  The goal is to have them ALL (min. May) submitted to Julie by this Friday. Thanks again to all for your understanding.

Julie asked that you please do not share this email. This is just a heads up another email will be sent out today and tomorrow asking for students to make sure they are verifying addresses on UAccess for their diploma. A copy of what is being sent out can be seen below. As we discussed, many students were upset about the email that was sent out on Tuesday asking that they turn in their degree audit form. That same email also was received by students who Julie already has a degree audit for. If you continue to receive emails from students regarding this matter, please let them know that it was a general email sent out to all. If they are still nervous and would like to speak to someone, please direct them to me.

Congratulations on the near completion of your degree for Spring 2018!  Please take a moment to log into UAccess Student Center and verify your mailing address for your diploma.  We will send your diploma to your active diploma address, if one exists, otherwise we will send it to your permanent address.
Go to UAccess Student Center, then Personal Information > addresses to view and confirm your address or to create a new “Diploma” address if necessary.

You must have a valid and active diploma or permanent mailing address in UAccess Student Center to receive your diploma.  We will begin mailing diplomas next week as we start posting degrees, so make sure your address is accurate today!
