Hello all!

Attached you will find a list June 25 orientation students (arranged by major) and their most up-to-date Writing Placement information. Remember, students only have a placement if they’ve completed the Foundations Writing Evaluation, an online procedure which guides them to select their own first-semester writing course. They have chosen these courses themselves; their writing placement is unrelated to GPA, SAT, or ACT scores.

We are sharing this resource because we’ve noticed that students’ advising sheets are not always accurate. Please refer to the attached list if you are not sure of a student’s Writing Placement status.

Please also share with advisors as you see fit!
