[Agvisors] Graduating Senior Surveys

Hi Nancy and All,

After HODS have had today and the weekend to express any concerns, I was planning to send a "GO" email to Agvisors with some key instructions that they can print for reference and share with students. 

I would advise that Agvisors require students to complete the survey at the office prior to the grad check (like we do now with paper surveys), and that they require the students to provide a screen shot verifying completion of the survey. Katie did this with her students during beta testing and I think it worked out well. I have also asked Rachel to add a note at the start and end of the survey reminding students that they are required to send their major advisor a screenshot of their completion page when they are done. 

Anyone can view the CALS Exit survey at the link here: https://redcap.uahs.arizona.edu/surveys/?s=DJNFRA8LHR   You will have to complete each page in order to be eligible to proceed forward in the survey but you can feel free to enter mock answers for the sake of time. After completing all of the CALS questions students will be given the choice to select a major. After doing that, your major survey will populate.

For consistency purposes and to yield a good response rate, how can the status of survey completion be verified by either the major advisor or CAS advisor?

The only two departments with programs that do not have surveys in REDCap are AGTM and SWES.

Yes the advisors are aware of the program, they helped with the beta testing. There are only two of the 14 majors that existed when the project began that are not currently participating. The three new degrees can go online as soon as they are ready.
