Greetings Agvisors,

Thank you for a great agvisor meeting. Dr. Torres’ presentation was very informative and your feedback on the non-enrolled student list, transfers, freshmen orientation, to name a few, is appreciated. Once i receive a copy of the strengths quest Power Point from Dr. Torres, it will be sent to the individuals that attended.  Attached is the article (book chapter) that was addressed yesterday on strength based advising.  Please make the time to read it over.  We will have a discussion at  future agvisor meeting.  Let me know if you have any questions, suggestions, etc. We have an exciting term ahead of us.

Second you will find information on OSFA, Registrar and the Bursar’s Office.  They have collaborated to create an updated handout with important information about dates and deadlines, FAQs and contact information for the new academic year. It will come in handy. A copy has also been saved on the Box folder – CALS Advising, Retention and Student Services.
