[Agvisors] Update: CALS Ambassadors "Adopt a Major"

Hello CALS Advisors,

I wanted to update you all on the newly created CALS Ambassador "Adopt a Major" effort - the goal of which is for Ambassadors to adopt a major (not their own) as a way to proactively learn about all CALS programs from the perspective of a prospective student.

The attached documents include:

*         Roster - a list of Ambassadors who've adopted your majors

*         List of CALS advisors - you all are the primary contact for them to learn about your programs (although I believe some Ambassadors have already reached out to faculty as well)

*         Questions - a list likely questions you'll receive from the Ambassadors. I've also asked them to connect with students and/or student clubs in your major as a way to get the student perspective.

The Ambassadors have all of this information (we're using Box for document sharing). Please send me any major-specific info you think is relevant for them; I'll add it to the Box account. They're delivering initial presentations about their adopted majors at the 11/28 and 12/5 Ambassador meetings. You're more than welcome to attend those presentations! Let me know if you're interested.

Lastly, please share this information with your departments so they're in the loop as well.
