Greetings Agvisors,

Attached is the new student orientation schedule at a glance for your reference. Excited to welcome the new freshmen class!

Friendly reminders:

·         Updated student list will be sent after the college meeting as we may end up with new students (~11:15am)

·         Preschedules will be emailed to listed advisor(s) by 2:00pm

·         Schedule reviews (advising) with advisors start at 2:30pm at listed locations (attached – excel)

·         Refer students to make any schedule modifications to Forbes 202 after advising

·         All students in the Wildcat Academy (WILD student group code) cohort will be enrolled in both CALS195C (1 unit)  and CALS100X (2 units –developmental course) concurrently. Max number of units these students can have on their schedule is 13 inclusive of the CALS courses.  After the 21st day in the term the students will have the option to enroll in a 10 week Tier 1 General Education class (5 to choose from) that will have supplemental instruction support.  CALS 100X instructors will provide students with this information as well. The courses are: ANTH160A1, LAS150B1, NSC170C1, RSSS150B1 and SPAN160C1.  As a reference, these classes will also be available to non-WILD students.
